Liquid Sky, a Tribute to Jimi Hendrix
Liquid Sky will be performing a set on Saturday, July 4 at 4 p.m. Hollister Freedom Rally 2015
Freddie Mabunga, vocalist/guitarist and founder of Liquid Sky has rounded up some of the best players in the Bay Area to play Jimi’s music. The band has been together since 2008 and have already played some of the top venues in the bay area. The other two memebers of this power trio consist of Kevin Nagel on the drums filling the shoes of Mitch Mitchell. Kevin is a veteran drummer of the local music scene and is the driving force behind Liquid Sky. Finally Mark Welker fills the roll of Noel Redding. Mark has shared the stage with the likes of Joe Satiriani, Y&T, and the great Randy Hansen. Liquid Sky’s live gigs are extremely guitar driven and fill the air with Jimi’s spirit.
